Christmas Celebrations at CH
December is a whirlwind of wonderful activities and experiences in school, with the children enjoying everything Christmas has to offer.
The school is full of hustle and bustle, delicious baking smells, the voices of singing angels, the giggles as the Treehouse Theatre take to the stage and the rumble of the helicopter as Father Christmas flies over and lands in the school field to collect the letters we have written…
This year, the whole school worked together to put on a fantastic performance of ‘Lights, Camel, Action!’. It is always very special to see them all together – our school family. Reception took to the role of naughty sheep rather too well, but the year six children held it all together with their presenting and judging expertise!
The term ended with carols around the Christmas tree, in the school hall. We shared traditional songs, a few from the production and we had a couple of performances from the school choir.
