Life with a smile…
Has anyone seen a marshmallow monster or a mermaid? Reception and KS1 went to watch Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra at Westlands in Yeovil. This term we have been learning about instruments of the orchestra so it was amazing to see them in action. We spotted lots of instruments we had learned about and some different ones. Thom loved seeing the big bassoon.
They also played ‘Life with a Smile…’ , the song we had been learning at school. It was very special to join in singing with the other school.
Thank you to Sherborne Arts Society for providing the funding to enable us to attend this event and to the team from Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra for making it such a fun experience.
